The company IdaT A/S was founded in April 2005 by Ida Trads who is the head designer behind the designer brand IdaT. The main target group is children aged 0-8 years. With the humoristic and sweet illustrations she has given life to numerous wild, fun and sweet animals from all over the world. The IdaT design is based on the philosophy that animals animate positive thoughts and make good conversation between children and grownups all over the world.

'ej sikke lej' was founded by Margit Egeskov and Marlene Eger Ullum in 2004. It all started one day when then came across some old needlework books with funny animal prints. One of them was the owl which became the logo for the company. The collection has continued to expand using these designs and strong colours.
